6/14/01: Both engines are seized. Bummer! I suppose I should have expected as much. One starter motor was broken so I had to swap them. I have a Ford F300 engine from another project that would fit right in here.
6/17/01: The upper side panels need to be replaced. I'm going to remove a panel from my "barn truck" . It says in the book to drill out the rivets and work a putty knife around the seas and slide the panel out.... Hummm... sounds easy enough. Today all I got done was drilling out the rivets. By the way I found out where to get replacement rivets that match the originals.
8/13/01: Not much to tell. I've been too busy with other projects to work on these guys. My sons mustang needs an oil pump, had to paint a motorcycle, helped move my son in law into his new shop, and all those "honey-do's: @home.
8/25/01: No way I'm going to get to these guys in the near future. I'm starting an addition and deck on my daughter's house. Just put the twins in the barn for storage.
12/10/05: Nothing left of value on these so sadly they went to the graveyard.
Special thanks to Rob Martin, DIVCO Club member #P34 for endowing me with these two fine specimens of the DIVCO dynasty. Serial #0109 and #0110. Thanks Ron!
After close inspection the rust is more extensive than I first suspected. However, they are complete and maybe not "concours" restorable but good enough to clean up, replace a few panels and drive them around.
